Random streets - Feb
The last week of Feb, the end of my peak...glad things worked out fine...
How i missed street photography..and how long has it been since i last isolated them..Time to renew the joy of shooting on streets!

One Olive
If you like flowers and floral design, this is probably one place you should drop by.
I guess Fion would be interested to check this place out!
Fuji X-E1, XF18mm f2
It was an unintentional trip to this place but the moment i step out of the car, i was immediately drawn to it.
The way the flowers were presented in the shop resembles a little like Amy merrick's style.
Well since, im not doing a publicity for this shop, you probably got to google it for more info...but definitely a nice shop that i would love to share here.

人日@洛阳大伯宫
The seventh day, traditionally known as Rénrì (人日, the common man's birthday), is the day when everyone grows one year older. It is also the day when tossed raw fish salad, yusheng, is eaten for continued wealth and prosperity.
If you didnt know, Yusheng is a local dish.
The overwhelming flow at this temple

Just 25mm on the streets
If there is a day that i can only bring one lens on a trip, the trusty Voigtlander Color Skopar 25mm f4 ltm would be the choice.
Its light weight, compact and fast. Fast, not in the aspect of big aperture, but fast in handling. With the clickstop on the focusing tab, i basically just feel the lens and zone focus on my subject.
This lens at this focal length works very good for streets, wide enough for landscape, close enough for streets. The best part, its sharp and contrasty.
Here's the picture i took in Hong Kong.
You will never get enough of the nostaglic streets of Hong Kong.
At Yuen Po Street, a small area but definitely worth visiting!
An accidental double exposure.
Strolling with the bird
Looks a little cartoon here...haha
On streets, i realised that even with a f4 lens, at an iso 800, i am not restricted by the availability of light. While everyone thought that a bigger aperture like f1.4 would be more idea, i do not see the limitation of my lens.
Testifying to the above....
Night streets at Wang Jiao
Well, with a little practice, once you get familiar with the lens, you know it when you nail the shot!
@ Central...
I'm a person who dont really fancy distortion...but at 25mm im actually making use of the slight distortion from this lens. Its definitely not as overwhelming as the 21mm or the 15mm lenses....
Its a lens i never thought of selling...and definitely always in my "to bring" listing everywhere i go!

An afternoon at Tai O
Just when you thought i dont shoot films anymore....NOOOO...thats not possible!
I still love them...just that it took me awhile to get them processed and scan..
Here's a roll that i did when i was at Tai-O...a short little walk thru the village.
We took a boat ride around the area...
