Canon 7

Recently i spotted this camera on sale...and a 2nd look, i realised that it has one of the rare lens that canon produced. The canon 50mm f2.2, a 5 element in 4 groups lens, rigid designed by Mukai Jiro in January 1961. The is by far the only details i have on this lens.
With a nice package price for both the camera and lens, i didnt really hesitate much before buying it. It took 3 days to reach me from Japan from EMS and it was really in a minty condition both the lens and camera. The working meter was a bonus!

I guess im really in love with the canon 50's....i had 4 of them as at now and every single one has a different character of it's own!

Finding Colors in Little India

I realized that this place is filled with colors...as much as how the Indians love them. Im glad i had a roll of fuji proplus 100 on my R2A...and i shot most of these with the Ultron 35mm f1.7. This lens is amazing!

It was raining that day when we went...but this place was never dull...

Little India

For so many years, i have never tried to explore this area...but i am glad i did and thanks to Benji for organising this outing..its really a wonderful place for streets photography! The local indian community are a humble group of people who are very photo friendly and approachable..

this is also my first try using HC110 dilution H for developing my negative...the results are quite nice.

A little miscalculation that unlike a SLR..im viewing thru a VF..and should have compensate a little by tilting the lens upwards...nonetheless i still find this picture acceptable.

Although the weather was bad and drizzling throughout..the warmth of the people here really did brighten up our day! As usual, this outing with the group is a fun and enjoyable session.

Sleep over at the Airport

Think i should give this lens another chance...it does produce some decent shots...
Shot with nikkor 3.5cm f3.5, a simple 4 element lens..

This is a common sight at the airport transit..is it just too comfortable for the travellers?
