Pictures from Canon 35mm f2.8 & Summaron 35mm f2.8
My take with the Summaron & Canon on the same roll..
Summaron 35mm f2.8
Canon 35mm f2.8
Pictures are taken at f2,8. Clearly the Summaron work alot better! Sharper, details finer, contrast and overall tonality is much nicer compared to the Canon...But at a fraction of the price, the Canon is already performing above expectation.
I would love to own a Summaron...

Summaron vs Canon 35mm f2.8 ltm
The weather was fine today and so, i decided to try one of the Leica lenses that probably interest me alot...Summaron 35mm f2.8.
This lens is definitely one of the more affordable Leica lens and yet delivers high performance. Works pretty well with black and white negative.
Well, since i had a Canon 35mm f2.8, i thought, i try both lenses today.
Summaron borrowed from Dacteo
The film used is Kentmere 100, pushed at 200, and developed with R09.
Clearly in the below 2 shots, we can tell which is Shot using summaron. The high contrast, nice tones and sharpness in the Summaron seems to shout out to you its name!
Well i guess given the price, its justifiable!
The Canon isnt lacking in terms of sharpness...
Will post more pictures from both lenses...look out for my next post.

Ricoh GR
I'm usually a rational buyer when it comes to cameras...
I don't follow the trend or get influenced easily when it comes to new launch of digital camera. I don't rush to be the first set of user of new digital even if i know i am interested to own it eventually.
I need reviews and more reviews before i decide if its suitable.
With the depreciating value of a digital camera, its always good to get them at a price that you feel good.
My thoughts about this camera is that it is probably one of the fastest camera that i ever own and the snap focus mode is really a good tool for street shots.
I love the ability to custom the various setting in the camera. With the APSC sensor, this camera delivers some of the high quality and sharp images that i would expect of.
Its definitely in my bag and anywhere i go, i will bring it along.
Some pictures for the week!
